We’re excited to share details of our recent project in Plymouth, Devon, where we partnered with a client who had just applied a Triflex waterproof coating to the multi-storey car park. Elite Markings was brought in to provide clear and durable line markings and signage, ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow for users of the facility.
Following the application of the Triflex waterproof membrane, we utilised two high-quality Triflex products to achieve a professional and long-lasting finish:
- Triflex Single Pack Paint: This was used for the majority of the line markings within the car park. Its ease of application and excellent adhesion properties made it the ideal choice for creating crisp, visible lines on the newly coated surface. The single pack nature of the paint also allowed for efficient application,
- Triflex MMA Paint: For the crucial directional arrows within the roadways, we opted for Triflex MMA (Methyl Methacrylate) paint. This robust, rapid-curing paint offers exceptional durability and resistance to wear and tear, making it perfect for high-traffic areas like car park roadways. The quick curing time of MMA paint also allowed us to complete the arrow markings swiftly, minimising any inconvenience to users.
The project presented some unique challenges, including working within a multi-storey environment and ensuring minimal disruption to the car park’s regular operations on the lower decks. Our experienced team meticulously planned and executed the project, working closely with the client to coordinate our activities and ensure the project was completed on time and to the highest standards.
